FREEHOLD 58, FREEHOLD TWP. 36: Sophomore Rebecca Cobb scored eight of her game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Colonials (6-1) past the Patriots (3-5) in a nondivisional game. Senior guard and NJIT recruit Camerin Spahn scored eight of her 14 points in a 20-10 third quarter for Freehold, which has won six straight games after narrowly falling to Neptune in the season opener for both teams. For Freehold Township, sophomore guard Samantha Famulare finished with a team-high 10 points.
